Senior Business Intelligence Developer

As a senior business intelligence developer, you will be responsible for designing and building comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. To achieve this, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions using Power BI Desktop and Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema concepts.
- Design and build complex relationships between tables using DAX formulas.
- Utilize Power Query for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Apply strong SQL skills for querying relational databases and working with large datasets.
- Create visually appealing and intuitive Power BI reports and dashboards with best practices for design and usability.
- Optimize report performance using various techniques such as query optimization and data compression.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) to restrict access to sensitive data.
- Experience with cloud-based data sources such as Azure SQL Database and Google Analytics is required.
- Effective communication skills are necessary to liaise with stakeholders and deliver insights in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Skills:
- Power BI Embedded experience for embedding reports into web applications or other platforms.
- Power Automate and Power Apps integration for automating workflows.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Certification such as the Data Analyst Associate Exam DA-100 or equivalent certifications is advantageous.
