Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

Overview:

  • As a senior business intelligence developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop complex data models, measures, and calculations to support business decision-making.
  2. Design and implement scalable and secure reporting solutions that meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  4. Collaborate with data analysts to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to report rendering, data connectivity, and performance optimization.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in PowerBI and other relevant technologies.
  7. Contribute to the development of documentation and knowledge base articles to improve team productivity and reduce onboarding time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and supporting business intelligence solutions using PowerBI.
  • Expert-level skills in PowerBI-DAX, data modeling, and data visualization.
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server, database management systems, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
