This role presents a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Senior Data Engineer, driving innovation and growth through cutting-edge data warehouse solutions. Your expertise in modern data warehousing will be leveraged to design and develop high-performance data pipelines utilizing Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.

Beyond technical skills, we seek candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent projects. Collaborative spirit and effective communication are essential for success in this position.

  • We're looking for individuals with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, boasting at least 6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of hands-on experience in data warehousing/ETL projects.
  • A key aspect of this role is providing technical guidance and support to junior team members, leading technical discussions with client architects and team members, and orchestrating data pipelines in Airflow's scheduler.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Snowflake security, SQL, and designing/implementing other Snowflake objects
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and connectors
  • Deep understanding of Star and Snowflake dimensional modeling
  • Strong knowledge of Data Management principles
  • Proficiency in Databricks Data & AI platform and Delta Lake Architecture
  • Experience with SQL, Spark (PySpark), and building ETL/data transformation processes
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including imaging and geospatial data
  • Experience in Dev/Ops environments with tools like Terraform, CircleCI, and GIT
  • Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and Query Optimization
  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional Certification desirable

Preferred Skills: Snowflake/Azure Data Factory/ PySpark
