Key Challenges and Responsibilities

  1. Elevate the maturity of ETL solutions by designing, developing, and deploying high-quality processes using Informatica PowerCenter 9.x and beyond.
  2. Maintain robust IICS/IDMC solutions with or without CAI experience, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
  3. Work collaboratively with various databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and others, to drive data-driven insights.
  4. Develop Unix scripts, commands, and file handling routines to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  5. Utilize Python for basic knowledge and applications to enhance problem-solving capabilities.
  6. Write efficient SQL and PL-SQL queries and codes to optimize database performance.
  7. Conduct thorough data testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  8. Deploy code efficiently through CI/CD pipelines, automating workflows and reducing manual intervention.
  9. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and tools in the AWS/Azure Data Engineering stack, including Glue, ADF, S3, and ADF, to drive innovation.
  10. Familiarize yourself with scheduling tools like Apache Airflow and Ctrl-M to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter 9.x and beyond.
  • IICS/IDMC experience with or without CAI experience.
  • Database skills in Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and others.
  • Unix scripting and file handling expertise.
  • Python basics and knowledge.
  • SQL and PL-SQL query writing skills.
  • Data testing and validation skills.
  • CI/CD pipeline deployment expertise.
  • AWS/Azure Data Engineering stack familiarity.
