Role Description:

As a seasoned Hardware Developer, you will be part of a high-performance team that drives innovation in quantum computing and AI. Your primary focus will be on designing and developing cutting-edge processor core front-end pipeline units.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, architecture, and development of high-performance systems' Processor Core Front-end pipeline units.
  2. Develop micro-architecture, design RTL for CPU units such as I-Cache, Instruction Fetch, Branch Prediction, and Decode.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop features, sign off pre-silicon designs meeting functional, area, and timing goals.
  4. Participate in post-silicon lab bring-up and validation of hardware.
  5. Lead a team of engineers, guide, mentor team members, represent as Logic Design Lead in global forums.

Required Expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience in architecting and designing CPU units (e.g., I-Cache, Instruction Fetch, Branch Prediction, Instruction Decode).
  • Hands-on experience with different Branch Prediction techniques.
  • Deep expertise in Out of Order, Super Scalar, Multi-Threaded Core Architecture and ISA.
  • Experience with high-frequency instruction pipeline designs.
  • At least 1 generation of Processor Core silicon bring-up experience.
  • In-depth understanding of industry microprocessor designs (e.g., x86, ARM, or RISC-V processor designs).
  • Proficiency in RTL design with Verilog or VHDL.
  • Knowledge of at least one object-oriented or functional programming language and scripting language.
