Data Modeling Expert

We are seeking an accomplished Data Modeling Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing data models and naming standards across all deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Model Design and Development: Design, develop, and enforce data models and naming standards across all deliverables.
  • Legacy Data Models: Reverse and forward engineer business legacy data models.
  • Tech Requirements and Designs: Communicate technical data integration requirements, designs, and decisions to IT and business stakeholders, both verbally and through documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Computer Science or Information Science degree or equivalent field, DAMA Data certifications a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
  • Domain Experience: Experience in the banking domain is a must.

Proficiency in Tools and Technologies:

  • Data Lineage/Modeling Tools: Proficient in ER Studio.
  • Informatica Toolsets: Experienced in Informatica toolsets including Data Archive, EDC, Oracle database.
  • Data Warehouse Design: Expert understanding of data warehouse design for high volume processing and performance.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI.
