Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Process Control and Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Advanced Process Control (APC) and/or optimization solutions, with expertise in technologies such as AspenTech DMC3, Honeywell Forge APC (UOP APC), and AVEVA APC (Advanced Process Control).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical implementation of APC and/or optimization projects on complex industrial processes.
  • Support product managers, data scientists, and customers to drive the adoption of AI/ML-based process optimization applications.
  • Advise the product team on industry use cases, ideation, and feature implementation.
  • Work with people in an operating plant or other operational setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience implementing APC and/or optimization solutions.
  • Expert-level knowledge of APC and optimization technologies and methodologies.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills.

Technical Skills Required

  • Experience with varied and complex industrial processes, preferably LNG, cryogenic processes, syngas, and/or fertilizer industries, gas processing, refining, and olefins.
  • Knowledge of plant data-driven process modeling/analytics and its limitations.

Working Conditions
