Software Quality Engineer

About the Role:

As a seasoned software quality engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust testing strategies to ensure the reliability of complex software systems. Your mission is to develop innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential issues, guaranteeing seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies for intricate software systems.
  • Design and execute automation tests using Python and Pytest framework to validate software functionality.
  • Lead API testing initiatives to ensure smooth integration and functionality of backend services.
  • Utilize Selenium for web application testing to pinpoint and address potential problems.
  • Conduct mobile testing using Appium to enhance product performance on diverse platforms.
  • Define and establish test architecture guidelines and best practices for the team to follow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Agile testing methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to elevate overall testing capabilities.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to optimize testing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience of 10-15 years in software testing with expertise in Python, Pytest framework, Selenium, API testing, and Appium.
  • Strong knowledge of test architecture design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments and implementing Agile testing practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Certification in testing tools and methodologies would be a plus.
