Job Role: Senior Operations Manager

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of a 35-50 keys hotel/hostel. He/she will be entrusted to effectively manage multiple facets of operations including front office, housekeeping, human resource management, F&B, guest experience, R&M & engineering, security & safety, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understanding of the hospitality/hotel industry with extensive work experience.
  2. Strategic understanding of company's vision, business expansion plans, operational standards, etc.
  3. Optimisation of hotel operations through a bird eye view.
  4. Handling pre-launch phase, day-to-day operations, etc.
  5. Supervising various functions and human resources (blue/white collar).
  6. Managing operational quality with attention to detail on parameters such as infrastructure, services, staff, operations, etc.
  7. Escalation handling and grievance resolution.
  8. Motivating, mentoring and aligning staffs.
  9. Liaising with departments and ensuring cordial relationships.

Qualifications:

  1. Hospitality graduate/post-graduate or diploma in hospitality.
  2. Min. 5 years of experience in a hotel, hostel, guest house, etc.
  3. Operational knowledge of hotel operations.
  4. Effective communication, interpersonal and time-management skills.
  5. Flexibility to relocate anywhere in southern India.
  6. High attention to detail.
