Job Overview:

In this role, you will work on projects fine-tuning large language models using strong analytical and English comprehension skills. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Chemistry comparable to engineering entrance exam levels, or graduate or PhD-level programs.

  • The ideal candidate can break down complex chemistry problems into simple explanations and work efficiently.
  • You will learn how to leverage AI to be a better analyst.

Day-to-Day Work:

You will spend time solving advanced chemistry problems at undergraduate and graduate levels and creating detailed explanations. You will work regularly with a mix of chemistry content including text, images, chemical equations, diagrams, and visual representations.

Examples of Tasks:

  • Analyze and explain organic reaction mechanisms providing textual explanations and annotated chemical structures.
  • Solve equilibrium problems accompanied by visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams, and explain the process using text and visual aids.
  • Address challenging stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry problems typical of Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level questions utilizing textual, visual, and diagrammatic explanations.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Candidates pursuing Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields are eligible.
  • Analytical Skills: Good research and analytical skills.
  • Feedback Skills: Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative Thinking: Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently.
