As a Research Scientist - Organic Chemistry Specialist

This role involves designing, synthesizing, and characterizing organic compounds for various applications. Key responsibilities include conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results to drive innovation and advance research goals.

• Design and Execute Synthesis Routes: Develop efficient synthesis routes for target compounds using organic chemistry principles and techniques.
• Purification and Characterization: Perform purification and characterization of organic molecules using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy.
• Data Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze and interpret experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes.
• Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges.
• Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment.
• Professional Development: Stay current with literature and technological advancements in organic chemistry to contribute to the development of novel methodologies and technologies.

• Education: PhD / Master's degree in organic chemistry or related field(s), or evidence of exceptional ability.
• Experience: 1-2+ years of industrial experience preferred.
• Skills and Qualifications: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques, hands-on experience with organic synthesis, purification, and characterization methods, proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced research environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Personal Qualities: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting, commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in scientific research.
