Job Title: Senior Technology Strategist

Description:

  • Develop high-quality technology solutions for software applications and platforms.
  • Represent a product family of technical governance bodies.
  • Provide feedback and propose improvements to technology governance practices.
  • Guide evaluation of current technology and lead evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks.
  • Regularly provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
  • Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
  • Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
  • Contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies.
  • Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the complete lifecycle of a project from design to deployment of o9 s solutions to customers across industries and geographies.
  2. Effectively map the business requirements into o9 s platform and come up with a clear, phased achievable blueprint.
  3. Lead the blueprinting sessions and publish the business requirements along with key design decisions and data dependencies.
  4. Work with a team of experts to configure, solution as per the design to solve deep operations/supply chain problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring process.
  5. Work with the customer to resolve issues and coordinate defect tracking, analysis and resolution process.

Requirements:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Experience working on investment domain.
  • Hands-on AWS cloud experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc).
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to present solutions to stakeholders.
