Product Marketing Strategist

A highly skilled Product Marketing Strategist is required to drive our products to success in the EdTech/IT Training sector. This role entails crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively convey the value proposition of our offerings to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our marketing efforts are finely tuned to our business objectives, influencing present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role in a B2B environment. They must be highly motivated, energetic, and able to work independently, while also being a hands-on manager who can guide a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate the value proposition of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process.
  • Conduct market research and gather both internal and external feedback to help prioritize requirements for the product development team.
  • Analyse statistics regarding market development, acquire and analyse data, and consult with internal and external sources to develop new uses for existing products.
  • Create a product marketing plan including positioning and support material for use by sales to generate public-facing marketing collateral including digital marketing.
  • Work closely with sales, reporting and account management teams on RFPs, client contracting and reporting needs.
  • Highlight and present product benefits to both internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role in an B2B environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, qualitative and quantitative analysis skills and project management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn product features, and benefits and educate others.
  • Hands-on manager able to manage and guide team yet to work independently.
