Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create robust and scalable data pipelines for business intelligence and machine learning.
  • Develop and maintain the core data framework and key infrastructures.
  • Design and implement ETL pipeline to ensure seamless data flow from various sources to the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and other stakeholders to optimize data warehouse table structure for efficient reporting.
  • Strive for continuous process improvement and team productivity enhancement.
  • Establish and enforce data governance processes related to discovery, lineage, access control, and quality assurance.
  • Perform code reviews and QA checks on imported data.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • At least 2+ years in data engineering and infrastructure space, focusing on big data technologies like Hive, Spark, Pyspark, Airflow, Redshift, and Delta Lake.
  • Experience in product-based companies or startups.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing solutions on AWS.
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines, including post-deployment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with APIs for business application integration is a plus.
  • Databricks experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of Dev Ops principles is preferred.
  • Working familiarity with BI tools like Metabase and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Experience in architecting systems for data access is a significant plus.
