Job Title: Human Resources Strategist

The role of the Plant HR Generalist is to oversee all aspects of human resources within a manufacturing plant. This includes managing employee relations, coordinating payroll and benefits, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
    • Recruit and hire skilled employees for various roles within the plant, ensuring diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
    • Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new employees have a positive and productive start with the organization.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
    • Address grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner, promoting a positive work environment.
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as training and development opportunities, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
    • Manage industrial relations with contract workers and unions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Payroll & Compliance
    • Coordinate payroll processing, including salary payments, benefits administration, and statutory returns.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including tax obligations and employment standards.
  • HR Operations
    • Maintain accurate employee records, attendance tracking, and leave management systems.
    • Prepare regular HR reports, analyzing workforce metrics and providing insights for business decision-making.
  • Performance & Training
    • Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, feedback, and evaluation.
    • Identify training needs and develop skill-based training programs to enhance employee competencies.
