Genpact is seeking a Process Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for accurately applying cash remittance to customer receivable accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cash application and deduction creation, as well as experience working with Oracle Account Receivables.

You will be responsible for managing the cash application process, relieving receivables, and creating deductions for cash coming in through lock box and EFT. You will also be responsible for auditing the auto cash application process to ensure financial integrity of receivables.

Additionally, you will identify unknown cash receipts and apply them to the appropriate receivable. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the cash application process.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Relevant years of experience in cash application or AR operations, preferably in a shared service or BPO
  • Experience supporting US-based clients, ideally in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing sector
  • Prior experience handling distributor payments or working with high-volume transactions
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and bank platforms
  • Familiarity with lockbox processing, EDI remittance files, and customer portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa)
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and reconciliation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
