IT Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned IT sourcing specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive business success.
  2. Cultivate collaboration and facilitate effective communication across regions to enhance client satisfaction.
  3. Manage supplier partnerships and serve as the primary point of contact for IT category sourcing initiatives.
  1. Sourcing Planning:
  • Analyze spend and contracts to identify opportunities for cost reduction and sourcing optimization.
  • Develop tailored cost models to meet business needs and implement strategic IT initiatives with clients and colleagues.
  1. Management of Sourcing Initiatives:
  • Lead and execute IT sourcing projects from start to finish within agreed timelines and service quality standards.
  • Deliver allocated savings targets through effective management of sourcing initiatives.
  • Adhere to established sourcing policies and processes, ensuring high ethical standards in supplier engagements.
  1. Sourcing Support:
  • Provide expert sourcing advice, solutions, and support for client engagements and pitches.
  • Support sourcing planning and execution across multiple clients and environments.

Requirements:

  1. University degree in economics, supply chain management, or law, or equivalent industry experience.
  2. Excellent English language skills, with additional sourcing certification advantageous.
  1. A minimum of 12 to 15 years' experience in strategic sourcing, ideally international, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Proven sourcing and contracting experience in IT infrastructure products and services, office IT products and services, and cloud and datacenter services.
  3. Negotiation and contract knowledge, with the ability to converse and review contracts in English.
  4. Strong project management experience and tendering skills.
