Job Overview

As a System Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology services. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and implement automation solutions that streamline our delivery process.

  • Work closely with developers to design, build, and support technology services.
  • Ensure operational criteria like system availability, capacity, performance, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation are implemented throughout the delivery process.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT service management practices and experience working with agile methodologies. You should be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

  • Design and implement automation solutions to improve the efficiency of our delivery process.
  • Work with development teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and consistency across our technology services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical skills and business acumen. Here are some of the key qualifications we are looking for:

  • Experience with automation tools such as Chef, Jenkins, or Ansible.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
