Experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager Needed for High-Tech Position

As an accomplished engineering leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions by managing cross-functional teams and overseeing all phases of the software development lifecycle.

  • Someone with hands-on experience in design, architecture, and best practices is highly desirable.
  • Passionate about technology and adept at leading teams to deliver exceptional software products.
  • Experience in delivering multiple releases and complex features is essential.
  • Strive for simplicity and have the ability to break down complex problems into manageable units.
  • Capable of identifying risks, mitigating risks, and planning deliverables.
  • Proven track record of working closely with Development, QA, Architecture, Product Management, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Manage software development teams (team size of minimum 10 members).
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and other stakeholders to plan quarterly roadmaps.
  • Work closely with the development team to successfully deliver results.
  • Groom the team on engineering best practices to deliver quality software.
  • Contribute to improving the delivery process and framework.
  • Constantly analyze bug patterns and identify areas of improvement.
  • Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Managing, assigning, and planning tasks to team members.
  • Oversee resource allocation and needs within your team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with SaaS products in a delivery and people management role.
  • 10+ years of total experience (2+ years of management experience).
  • C#/.NET and Azure ecosystem knowledge is beneficial.
  • Managed engineering deliverables across multiple releases.
  • Experience with the entire software development lifecycle from ideation to deployment, support, monitoring, and improvement cycle.
