Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Quality Assurance Specialist.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of video streaming protocols and OTT platform testing requirements.
  • They will be experienced in testing on multiple devices and platforms, including iOS, Android, Roku, Fire TV, Smart TVs, and web browsers.
  • The successful candidate will have proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking tools.
  • They will also have familiarity with automation tools like Selenium and Appium, or scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying and reproducing defects are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Identify and reproduce defects, working with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve testing processes.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with at least 1-2 years in the OTT or media streaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and OTT platform testing requirements.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
