Integration Bus Developer Role

As a skilled integration bus developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus. Your primary goal will be to deliver robust middleware solutions that enable seamless communication between diverse systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration flows using IBM Integration Bus.
  • Develop and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and integration components.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions.
  • Document design, development, and operational procedures.
  • Work with other middleware technologies and tools as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IIB developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus.
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development.
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ and messaging concepts.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
