Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our placement efforts. As the head of placements, you will be responsible for identifying and establishing opportunities with employers across India.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employers and funders for hiring and sponsorship. They should also be able to support local center teams in finding job opportunities that meet the needs of students and employers alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and funders for hiring and sponsorship.
  • Support Local Center Teams: Support local center teams in finding job opportunities that meet the needs of students and employers alike.
  • Organize Activities: Organize activities such as industry talks, visits, job fairs, and employer interaction sessions to facilitate placements.
  • Manage Placement Data: Prepare and maintain placement data and reports in alignment with audit norms.
  • Lead a Team: Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve high performance and targets.
  • Collaborate with Training Teams: Work closely with training teams to identify skill gaps and ensure student readiness meets market demands.
  • Develop MOUs: Develop and sign Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with employers for hiring or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Strong Networking Skills: Strong networking skills and ability to build corporate relationships.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Multitasking Ability: Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Customer Relationship Management/ Applicant Tracking System software is an advantage.
