Senior Director (Real World Data)

Overview of Role

The Senior Director (Real World Data) is a senior role where the individual will own directly a certain body of work and provide support to the RWD organization for other parts.

The role requires a solid understanding of the customer problem and RWD assets, as well as experience in leading teams that work in a globally distributed setup delivering consulting work predominantly in Data Science and Data Engineering.

  1. Responsibilities:
  • Leads a team of analysts that support the RFP process for the team.
  • Provides guidance and oversight for the consulting delivery work.
  • Building Indication Specific Data Lakes.
  • Team management and leadership.

Requirements

Proven leadership and subject matter expertise in RWD and clinical experience are essential. The individual must have either a post-grad degree in clinical or bioinformatics, or a post-grad degree in CS, Math or equivalent with exposure of no less than 5-7 years in core data science algorithm development.

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in leading teams that work in a globally distributed setup delivering consulting work predominantly in Data Science and Data Engineering oriented.
  • Total of 15-18 years of work experience with 80% or more of the most recent experience being in bioinformatics, biopharma, and LifeScience related domains.
Required Skills and Qualifications
