Job Overview

This is a challenging role in global cost accounting, responsible for the consolidation and analysis of inventory and cost of sales. The ideal candidate will have expertise in US GAAP knowledge in Inventory and strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Update standard costing in the system and support annual standard costing process.
  • Perform testing of new projects and business expansions, supporting ERP system implementation.
  • Manage material ledger maintenance and master data support, including inventory accounting for manufacturing sites.
  • Review work of outsourced providers and perform journal entries, general ledger account analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and review audit schedules, answering questions from auditors.
  • Lead and review accounting and reporting requirements, such as standard costing and excess capacity analysis.
  • Participate in special projects to improve accounting processes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

We seek a professional with a Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 8 years of experience in general accounting, or Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, or Associate's degree with 10 years of experience. Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or MBA, Audit or Big 4 Public Accounting experience is preferred.
