Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Executive to join our team at Syngene. As an Associate Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing activities.

  1. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards to ensure the highest quality of our products.
  2. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) measures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  3. Coordinate with the EAM team to ensure equipment preventive maintenance and instrument calibration are up-to-date.
  4. Perform calibration checks on instruments such as pH meters and weighing balances to ensure accuracy.
  5. Verify the readiness of equipment for manufacturing activities to minimize downtime.
  6. Maintain the cleanliness of raw materials and packaging materials before bringing them into the plant.
  7. Receive and inspect raw and packaging materials against Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and issue slips with appropriate labels.
  8. Ensure the working area remains clean and organized at all times.
  9. Ensure the availability of consumables such as filter cloth, sample bottles, labels, and filter cartridges for current and next shifts.
  10. Monitor and control production operations as per BMR to meet quality and quantity targets.
  11. Perform batch charging, filtration, work-up, and drying activities according to BMR.
  12. Operate the Distributed Control System (DCS) as per process requirements and update operations in the BMR.
  13. Conduct online documentation during batch execution, ensuring documents and annexures are filled and maintained.
  14. Update and maintain equipment logbooks and daily checklists.
  15. Report any deviations or variations to the supervisor for further action.
  16. Implement corrective actions in coordination with relevant team members.
  17. Cross-check and hand over mother liquor, aqueous layer, spent solvent, and spent solid for disposal upon concurrence from the shift in-charge.
  18. Submit samples to Quality Control (QC) and prepare for the next step.
  19. Shift Coordination: Take charge from the previous shift by checking reaction conditions with the BMR, equipment cleanliness checklist (ECC), and availability of raw materials and solvents. Complete operations within BMR-specified timings. Provide shift updates to superiors on project and plant status.
