About this role

We are seeking an expert in industrial microscopy to join our team. As a key member, you will represent us on various forums and provide technical expertise to our customers.

This is an opportunity to leverage your knowledge of industrial microscopy to drive business growth and advance our work in the field. You will be responsible for providing training and presentations to customers and distributors on the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment. Your strong customer service skills and ability to develop good customer relationships will be essential in enhancing business opportunities.

As a technical specialist, you will also contribute new application information and localized marketing materials to our Marketing team. You will collaborate with our Sales team to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate imaging solutions. In addition, you will customize microscope systems based on user requirements and support trials, proof-of-concept studies, and evaluation reports.

About the ideal candidate

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar capacity or role

Key skills and core competencies

  • Experience of working in sector of Electronics / R&D / Academia / Oil & Gas / Power / Automotive is highly preferable
  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with superior customer service skills
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics and data analysis
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel, Salesforce and SAP software
