About the Job Opportunity

This role requires technical mastery for industrial microscopy business. You will represent us on various forums in India, provide technical directions, and support the sales team. You will lead new application requirements in accordance with global and regional strategies. You will also handle seminars and presentations to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities Summary

  • Provide technical expertise for industrial microscopy business, including installation, testing, commissioning, repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide timely, professional, and accurate information to technical enquiries from domestic customers and distributors.
  • Provide training and presentation to customers and distributors on equipment use, operation, and maintenance.
  • Develop good customer relationships to enhance business opportunities.
  • Contribute new application information and localized marketing materials to the Marketing team.
  • Support trials, proof-of-concept studies, and evaluation reports.
  • Stay updated with latest microscopy technologies and industry trends.
  • New market penetration by introducing new applications to potential customers.
  • Impart technical expertise to Sales & Application teams from distributors.
  • Compile competitors' information from the market and identify product advantages.
  • Collaborate with Technical and Application Specialists in APAC region for product knowledge and competitiveness.
  • Attend trade shows, workshops, and industry conferences as a technical expert.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on field applications and user experience.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar capacity or role.

Main Skills and Core Competencies

  • Experience working in sector of Electronics / R&D / Academia / Oil & Gas / Power / Automotive is highly preferable.
  • Experience and knowledge of Industrial Microscopy industry is a plus.
  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with superior customer service skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Salesforce, and SAP software.
