**Job Title:** Manager - Technical Service, Cleaning Solutions

The position of a Technical Service Manager for Cleaning Solutions is responsible for driving innovation and growth in the Asia Pacific region. This involves managing application development for key platforms, initiating customer projects, developing new products, and leading workstreams for application claims development.

A key competency of this role is building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand unmet needs, evaluate business opportunities, and propose projects that align with sustainability targets.

This position focuses on sustainable chemistries and operations, leveraging the Cleaning Solutions portfolio to deliver innovative solutions for Home Care, Industrial & Institutional cleaning, and Transportation Care applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Innovation Growth Projects: Developing new ideas using existing lab facilities and commercializing new products, concepts, and applications.
  • Application Claim Development: Supporting workstream management of the global application development team.
  • Customer Technical Service: Generating and managing customer projects, supporting new development and/or alternate product replacement, resolving technical complaints, and establishing product value proposition.
  • Benchmarking & Product Fit Development: Identifying competition products, generating competitive data for various applications/industries.
  • Market Innovation Trends: Identifying market trends, surveying market potential for Cleaning Solutions, and developing solutions around unmet needs.
  • Trade Shows: Participating with cleaning solution technical expertise at exhibitions, fairs, conferences, conventions.
  • Training: Providing technical training of traditional/new applications in labs for Sales & Marketing colleagues and Distributors/Clients.
  • Coordination & Management: Participating in global projects as a team member through Webex, tele-conferences, group discussions & projects.
  • Travel: Meeting domestic & international customers for technical projects in Asia Pacific.
