System Configuration Expert

Assist with configurations and support for global web-based applications. Provide daily system administration to users of a quality management application.

The role involves troubleshooting system issues, performing updates to website information content, and system data changes. The candidate will also assist with configuration changes, create and execute test cases to confirm configurations work as expected.

  • Provide daily system administration to users via telephone, email, and instant messaging.
  • Troubleshoots system issues with users and works with them to solve the issues, as well as software vendors when necessary.
  • Performs several system administration duties, such as updating website information content and system data changes.
  • Assists with configuration changes and testing.
  • Creates and executes test cases to confirm configurations work as expected.
  • Assists with validation and change control activities.
  • Assists with developing reports utilizing various tools.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • A team player with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced with system troubleshooting and investigation.
  • Proficient in Windows and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • SQL experience required.
  • Past scripting experience.
  • SharePoint experience.
