Job Overview:
A Night Auditor/Manager is responsible for overseeing overnight front desk and accounting tasks, serving as the primary point of contact for late-night guests. This role requires balancing financial transactions, preparing daily reports, and managing cash drawers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests in a warm and friendly manner overnight.
- Handling reservations, arranging amenities, and assisting VIPs with follow-up as necessary.
- Posting room charges, processing invoices, and balancing cash drawers.
- Tracking key financial metrics, preparing end-of-day reports, and verifying receipts.
- Auditing and reconciling daily financial accounts, including revenue, charges, and payments.
- Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of front desk experience at a managerial level.
- Basic math and accounting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field.
Essential Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and software systems.
