Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to test and verify the functionality, usability, and performance of our software. This includes:

  • Manual testing, including creating test cases, executing tests, and reporting bugs.
  • Documenting and tracking case histories, issues, and actionable steps taken, as well as providing post-implementation support.
  • Preparing test cases for module, integration, and system testing.
Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in:

  • Testing web and windows-based applications.
  • Performance testing, with a focus on identifying and resolving defects.
  • Creating test cases, test sets, test executions for web and windows-based applications.
  • Performing ad-hoc testing, smoke testing, data-driven testing, cross-browser testing.
  • Release acceptance, functional, integration, system-level, and regression testing.
  • Testing various builds and patches.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in testing.
  • Hands-on experience in performance testing is a must-have.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows File Server, and SQL is an advantage.
  • Experience with Atlassian products and XRAY is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
