Job Description:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading the culinary team and overseeing the food and beverage operations at our hotel. This includes developing and implementing menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food and service standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and align with the hotel's brand and quality standards.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional food and service.
  • Oversee the purchasing and inventory of food and supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and implement promotions and events that drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including food costs, labor costs, and revenue, to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible prices and service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our food and beverage operations remain competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the culinary field, with a minimum of 2-3 years in an Executive Chef role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls, as well as the ability to provide strong P&L financial leadership and deliver results.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage products, marketplace trends, and service standards.
  • Strong creative drive with specific strengths in quality production and innovative style.
  • Visible, pro-active, personally involved in the operation with excellent organizational skills.
  • Responsive, engaged, and interactive with proven ability to build strong relationships and manage through influence.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
