Pump Technician Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pump Technician to fill a key role in our operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various pumping systems.

This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair pumps and pumping systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of pump systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and determine proper solutions for pump repairs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and improve pumping systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and clients.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working on-site.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience in pump installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of various pump types including centrifugal, diaphragm, and gear pumps.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
