Equipment Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance and repair of complex equipment, particularly in the leisure and attraction industry.

They will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition, identifying and resolving any technical issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of complex equipment
  • Experience in the leisure and attraction industry, preferably in theme parks or FECs
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics
  • IPAF (mobile elevated working platform license) and/or PASMA (mobile scaffold erection license)
  • Ability to work at height and maintain balance
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

The successful candidate will also hold a Mechanical Engineering Certificate or similar diploma in an electrical field, and have knowledge of ride safety standards such as EN13814 and/or ASTM F24.
