Brief Description of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced software development expert to join our team in developing cutting-edge automated driving systems. As part of our ADAS team, your primary task will be to contribute to the creation of the next generation of ADAS systems, which will enable our vehicles to progress towards full autonomous driving by 2030.

To achieve this vision, we are working on specific software functionalities developments aimed at maximizing component reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake various tasks and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to mentor junior software engineers and clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting
  • Understand requirements and develop high-level designs, breaking them down into detailed designs
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs
  • Create detailed software designs and support their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams
  • Develop complex software to meet design objectives
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations
  • Liaise with global teams within our organization

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience, including 3+ years in application design and development
  • Responsible ownership of low-level design, implementation, and validation in complex automotive projects
  • Experience in designing and developing software solutions in AUTOSAR
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++
  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms
  • Good understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stacks
  • Experience in Automotive Software middleware platforms
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns
  • Familiarity with ISO26262
