Interior Design Project Manager Job Description

As a seasoned project manager, you will oversee the execution of interior design projects from start to finish. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of operations leads and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • You will coordinate with the design and production teams to align their efforts with project timelines.
  • Manage internal stakeholders, including finance, vendors, and installers, to guarantee timely support for meeting customer expectations and quality standards.

Customer Experience Ownership

  • Act as the highest point of escalation for your region, resolving customer issues within committed timeframes and ensuring project completion on a positive note.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate rapid issue resolution and empower your team members to tackle ground-level problems.

Team Empowerment and Leadership

  • Empower your existing team and hire top talent in the country to strengthen your regional team.
  • Ensure that every team member adheres to defined processes and standards to provide a standardized customer experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Customer Move-In Timeline Adherence
  • Customer Overall CSAT Score

Expertise and Qualifications

  • Prioritization of NIT/BITS/IIT/ MBA from IIM/Tier 1 B-schools
  • A minimum of 7 to 12 years of work experience in startups or operations in similar industries
  • Proven people management skills, with direct team reporting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Structured thought process and strong analytical ability
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Effective management of strategic alliances/business partnerships through builders, architects, and interior consultants to achieve maximum project reach
