Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in accounting or a related field and a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • They should possess strong knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar software is required.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with clients are necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple clients.
  2. Record journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and ensure timely posting of transactions.
  3. Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.

Accounting and Reporting:

  1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per GAAP.
  2. Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.
  3. Support preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.

Tax and Compliance:

  1. Assist with tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing.
  2. Ensure compliance with client-specific requirements.
  3. Liaise with external consultants and auditors when required.

Clients and Communication:

  1. Work closely with clients to understand their accounting needs.
  2. Provide timely updates, reports, and financial insights to clients.
  3. Handle queries and resolve issues related to accounting, reporting, or compliance.
