We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about finance and accounting.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, general ledgers, and other accounting records
  • Maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, and managing cash flow
  • Resolving discrepancies and investigating accounting irregularities

In addition, the Senior Accountant will supervise and lead a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest level of performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including financial statement preparation and general ledger maintenance
  • Experience with accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

You will also need to have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience. A CPA certification is highly desirable.
