Job Title: Controls and Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls and Automation Specialist to join our team.

Responsibility:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical clarification on requested equipment, including taking ownership of proposed equipment during projects.
  • They will also be responsible for technical elaboration and vendor management of detailed design, including functional specification as a base for process coding and hardware equipment creation.
  • In addition, they will respect current good engineering practice and industrial standards applicable to the project, and work in accordance with our established quality management system.
  • International and national travel may be required to support site commissioning, engineering and construction activities at customers and local vendors.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8-10 years of experience is required.
  • Proven experience in automation and controls engineering of equipment used in the process industry, such as beer production, wine or water industry.
  • Skills in HMI and PLC programming on Siemens and AB Rockwell platforms, WinCC, Tia Portal, and Simatic Manager.
  • Familiarity with current industry guidelines for designing, manufacturing, testing, and documenting food and beverage process equipment.
  • Ability to handle engineering changes that may arise during the course of a project, including all related information, communication, agreements, cost/time impacts.
