Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to assume the role of Business Development Manager. As the key person in charge of establishing a new business from scratch, the selected candidate will act as a shadow to the business head, closely collaborating with various functions to put all pieces together.

The primary responsibilities for this position include:

  • Business Data Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive business data management, encompassing individual function charters and the company's P&L statement, while extracting actionable insights from the data.
  • Execution Ownership: This role involves on-ground business execution with the business head, including working in the field and owning business outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: The Business Development Manager will serve as a bridge between individual business functions and leadership, fostering close collaboration with each function and providing support to resolve problems.
  • Process Building and Productization: The chosen candidate will be responsible for creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the business and its functions, along with productizing business operations through internal technology and third-party SaaS solutions.
  • New City Launches: This individual will play a pivotal role in new city launches, acting as the city lead for on-ground operations during the initial launch period.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree from a top-tier university, accompanied by an MBA from a reputable institution.
  • Work experience ranging from 1-5 years across sales and program management, preferably in retail distribution or sales.
  • Prior project management experience, alongside comfort with data dashboarding and analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High ownership levels, ability to switch context, and capacity to build new business skills quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
