Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, functional testing, and implementing CI/CD-based automation frameworks.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers, BAs, and product owners to understand requirements and create test scenarios.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases using ACCELQ (Cloud version) for web applications, executing automated and manual tests, and providing test coverage reports, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automated Test Case Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using ACCELQ (Cloud version) for web applications.
  • Test Execution: Execute automated and manual tests to ensure application quality across functional, regression, and integration levels.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product owners to understand requirements and create test scenarios.
  • Test Maintenance: Maintain test scripts, debug failures, and ensure high reusability and maintainability.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Test Reporting: Provide test coverage reports, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Automation Frameworks: Strong hands-on experience in ACCELQ Web (Cloud) for automation.
  • Test Design Principles: Solid knowledge of automation frameworks and test design principles.
  • Agile Methodologies: Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps CI/CD environments.
  • Functional Testing: Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • API Automation: Knowledge of APIs and ability to automate using ACCELQ (nice to have).
  • Tools: Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git.
Good to Have:
  • Cloud Environments: Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Domain Experience: Experience in banking/insurance/financial domains (if relevant to your projects).
