Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process endorsement requests for auto and home insurance policies, including policy modifications, coverage additions, and other adjustments as requested by policyholders or agents.
  • Review existing policies to ensure that requested endorsements comply with underwriting guidelines and company policies.
  • Verify all necessary information before processing changes.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all endorsements are processed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards, including adherence to state-specific insurance laws.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the endorsement process.
  • Stay updated on changes in company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to auto and home insurance endorsements.

Underwriting Responsibilities:

  • Review and process New Business, Renewals, and Endorsements requests per guidelines.
  • Verify and update policy information.
  • Update policy forms per underwriting toolkit.
  • Generate experience mod reports and rating worksheets.
  • Follow instructions in binders, including subjectivities and related activities.
  • Review incoming transactions and related information for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Multi-line new business submissions, renewal submissions, and endorsements processing, including rating, policy construction, and assembly in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Updating underwriting files with additional information and/or policy documents.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Typing speed of 25 WPM with 90% accuracy.
  • Able to make decisions following process guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Good knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance domain is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication skills (written & verbal), CEF B1-4; Good comprehension skills.
