Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to oversee the accounting function, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing accurate financial information to management.

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian GAAP / Ind AS / IFRS.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition, expense tracking, and asset management.
  • Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Maintain robust internal financial controls and accounting policies.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement automation where possible.
  • Support management in cost optimization and financial risk assessment.
  • Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy of entries and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, HR, and procurement teams for seamless workflows.
  • Assist finance leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including cash flow management and banking relations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Implement and maintain internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. They must be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of financial regulations, laws, and industry best practices is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is also required.
