Job Title: Ab Initio Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ab Initio and SQL Developer


Job Summary:

Our ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Ab Initio components, excellent SQL skills, and the ability to work independently or in collaboration with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Ab Initio.
  • Write efficient and complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform data profiling, data validation, and root cause analysis of data quality issues.
  • Support and enhance existing Ab Initio graphs and SQL procedures.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders for data integration strategies.
  • Participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and deployment processes.
  • Evaluate and ensure data pipeline reliability, scalability, and adherence to standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Ab Initio (including components like GDE, EME, Co>Operating System, Conduct>It).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Teradata, or any major RDBMS).
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and large-scale ETL systems.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data mapping, and metadata management.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and SQL queries.
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
