About the Role

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ab Initio Developer to join our ranks. As an Ab Initio Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale ETL solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop efficient ETL processes using Ab Initio components.
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform data profiling, validation, and root cause analysis of data quality issues.
  • Support and enhance existing Ab Initio graphs and SQL procedures.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders on data integration strategies.
  • Participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure data pipeline reliability, scalability, and adherence to standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Ab Initio development (including GDE, EME, Operating System, etc).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Teradata, or any major RDBMS).
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and large-scale ETL systems.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, mapping, and metadata management.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and SQL queries.
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
