Asset Management and Configuration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the enhancement and management of our client's asset lifecycle and configuration practices globally.
This role involves delivering end-to-end solutions, process optimization, and CMDB governance while working closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage delivery of Asset Management engagements, ensuring alignment with service level agreements and key performance indicators.
- Configure Identification and Reconciliation rules for reliable CMDB data integrity.
- Monitor CMDB health and proactively resolve data conflicts between authoritative sources.
- Define and maintain standard Configuration Items (CIs), CI relationships, and classification schemas.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks for Asset Management.
- Create application maps using ServiceNow Service Mapping (optional).
- Configure MID Servers for integrations and data synchronization (optional).
- Customize ServiceNow environments including scripting, automation, and module configuration.
- Design reports and dashboards to support decision-making and transparency.
- Identify opportunities for continuous service improvement.
- Define periodic audit and verification processes for asset data.
- Engage with stakeholders regularly to communicate status, issues, and opportunities.
