Job Description

The Financial Planner is responsible for developing long-term business strategies, annual budgets & forecasts in collaboration with the Business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct industry analysis and competitor study in partnership with sales and marketing team to gather relevant information for business strategy and plan formulation.
  • Prepare long-term business plans, business strategy, yearly business budget & forecasts in collaboration with the Business teams.
  • Track business and revenues by publishing and analyzing relevant dashboards highlighting performance against target/budget.
  • Assist business leaders in developing an action plan for non-performers and track revenues.
  • Attend customer queries and assist with fair understanding of Taxation laws to drive projects impacting the Bank/its businesses.
  • Guide Operations, IT, Business teams on new requirements/changes in existing requirements per laws.
  • Develop and review new business processes as per strategic goals of Ujjivan.
  • Track costs of various verticals against budget and perform variance analysis.
  • Suggest alternatives to optimize costs incurred to improve profitability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • MBA(Finance)/ CA/ CFA degree.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in financial analysis or planning & budgeting in a Bank/Financial Institution/advisory firm.
