Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description\

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee systems integration across chamber design, precision motion, enclosure development, safety interlocks, and scaling mechanical builds. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering precision electromechanical systems and be comfortable with vacuum practice, precision motion, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and design for manufacturability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:\
  • The successful candidate will design for speed, stability, and serviceability: quick specimen exchange, accurate and repeatable motion, clean routing, easy field-replaceable swaps.\
  • They will develop the assembly and test playbook - fixtures, torque specs, metrology checks - and drive it from prototype to pilot builds.\
  • The selected candidate will qualify and scale India-based and global suppliers, partnering closely to improve yield and finish quality.\
  • They will lead system-level integration, balancing optics, electronics, thermal, acoustic, and safety needs.
