AS400/RPG Lead Developer

About us: We're a technology services company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions using various software technologies.

We're seeking an experienced AS400/RPG Lead Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of RPG IV, CLLE, and ILE concepts, as well as experience working with OMS, Inventory, WMS, and PO modules.

The role requires a deep understanding of DB2/400 – physical/logical files, SQL, journaling, triggers, and strong debugging skills using STRDBG, job logs, and error analysis.

You'll be responsible for creating projects in a modular fashion, encouraging code re-use, and developing technical documentation. Additionally, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and participate in code reviews.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • 12 - 20 years of experience on IBM i / AS/400 platform
  • Experience in the retail domain
