Portfolio Analyst

This role is responsible for identifying new product opportunities in emerging markets. It requires thorough research and analysis to provide insights that support portfolio selection committee decisions and portfolio strategy planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Explore new products across therapies based on medical and market feasibility.
  • Analyze secondary market data to understand available opportunities.
  • Conduct preliminary IP landscaping of products globally.
  • Brief business cases for new products proposed in the portfolio selection meeting.
  • Track market updates, competitor analysis, and entry channels for in-licensing opportunities.

Mandatory skills include:

  • Strong understanding of IP landscapes in pharma across markets.
  • Knowledge of pharma regulatory frameworks in the US, EU, and emerging markets.
  • Understanding of formulation selection processes and forecasting strategies.
  • Data platforms expertise including IQVIA, Corelli's, and global data.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Educational Qualifications:

M. Pharm or M.Sc Chemistry or MBA from a Tier I Institute/University is preferred.

Work Experience:

3-5 years in portfolio, strategy, and/or IPM roles are required.
